Lowercase, hyphens instead of spaces. This becomes the folder name, which is what you type to run it.
One job. A skill that tries to do five tends to fire for the wrong one.
One phrase per line. Use the literal words you'd type, not a summary of them. This is the single biggest thing that makes a skill fire.
Naming what it's not for stops it grabbing work you didn't mean.
One rule per line. Numbers beat adjectives. "Between 140 and 160 characters" can be checked, "concise" can't.
